Dal 28 Ottobre 2003 i gatti sono due! Il primo è TommiLuna, il secondo
Lalla.
From October 28, 2003 the cats has become two! The first one is
named TommiLuna, the second one Lalla.
Ogni momento è buono per stare al sole!
Every moment is good to lie in the sun!
Spesso sono in compagnia!
Often they are in company!
TommiLuna.
TommiLuna è nato nel Maggio 1996. Da piccolo è caduto dal balcone ed i suoi
padroni, dopo averlo portato tutto malconcio dal veterinario, l'hanno
abbandonato lì. Il veterinario ha dovuto asportargli la milza ed è rimasto 3
giorni in coma. Ripresosi, è diventato la mascotte dello studio. Nel Novembre
l'abbiamo adottato noi.
TommiLuna ("Luna" means "Moon") was born in May, 1996.
When he was a child he fell to the ground from the balcony and his owners, after
they have tooken him black and blue all over to the veterinary, left him there.
The veterinary had to remove his spleen and he remained in coma for 3 days. Once
recovered, he became the veterinary office mascot. In November we adopted him.
Tommi è un gatto che ha forti problemi di equilibrio: quando cade non ha
il riflesso a raddrizzarsi e, spesso, quando si stiracchia perde l'equilibrio.
Ah, a proposito: i gatti quando cadono capovolti non conservano il
momento angolare!

Tommi is a cat with great balance problems: when he fall down he doesn't
have the cat righting reflex and, often, when he stretch himself he
goes out of balance.
Oh, by the way: when the cats fall upside down they don't preserve the
angular momentum!
;-)
Anche quando salta si vede che ha problemi: arriva sempre alto.
Again, when he jumps you can see that he has some problems: he fall down
from too high.
In compenso è affettuosissimo, morbidissimo e si fa paciugare in un modo
incredibile.
In return he is very affectionate, very soft and I like very much to stroke
and cuddle him.
Si chiama Lalla. È nata nel Luglio 2003. Quando era neonata è stata
abbandonata e, affetta da una grave rinite, è stata adottata dagli amici dell'ARCA.
Purtroppo la rinite è degenerata ed è stato necessario operarla per toglierle
l'occhio sinistro; quello destro era già perso. Nella foto qui sotto Lalla ha
ancora i punti.
Her name is Lalla. She was born in July, 2003. When she was a baby she has
been abandoned and, suffering from a serious rhinitis, has been adopted
by the friends of ARCA.
Unfortunately the rhinitis degenerated, so it was been necessary to operate her
to take the left eye off; the right one was yet ruined. In the picture below
Lalla still has the stitches.
Lalla si è adattata in pochi giorni alla casa: nonostante sia completamente
cieca, riesce a girare, anche correndo, per tutta la casa. Trova al primo colpo,
e senza urtare contro gli ostacoli, il divano, la cassetta per sporcare, i suoi
giochi, la pappa (!), ecc.: sembra che ci veda benissimo!
Lalla adapted herself to home in a few days: although she is completely blind,
she is clever at strolling about the house. She find unhesitatingly, and without
knocking against obstacles, the divan, the dirty-box, her games, the pap (!),
etc.: it seams that she can see very well!
